- The character menu:
- this menu contains five selec-
- tions that will enable a player
- to perform character and party
- options.

- 1. create character:
- There are five steps required
- to create a character:
- I.. After selecting this option,
- one must enter the name that
- they will bestow upon the
- character.
- II. The player then will be
- prompted to choose a race.
- Click on the desired picture.
- III. the third step involves
- the selection of a characters
- profession. again, click on
- the desired picture.
- IV. this step involves the
- random generation of your
- characters abilities. there
- are two icons below the data
- that control this process. to
- re-roll your abilities, use
- the re-roll icon and once you
- are satisfied with your charac-
- ters abilities, choose the
- accept icon.
- V.. the last step in the
- character generation involves
- the selection of a portrait
- that will represent your
- character. Use the arrow icons
- to flip through the available
- portraits and then choose the
- accept icon when you get to
- the picture that you like best.

- 2. add character:
- This option will allow a
- character that is stored on
- disk to be added to the current
- party. Click on the name of
- the character that you wish to
- add to the party. when you are
- finished adding characters,
- click on the area of the
- current party data and you will
- be returned to the character
- options menu.

- 3. drop character:
- The current party is displayed
- with the characters name and
- his or her picture within the
- small window. click on the
- picture of the character that
- you wish to drop, or anywhere
- else on the screen to return to
- the character menu.

- 4. erase character:
- when a character has outlived
- his or her usefulness, this
- option will remove them per-
- menately from the hard drive.
- A list of characters is dis-
- played with the current party
- listed below. click on a
- character from the list and
- a yes no confirmation will
- come up. choosing yes will
- erase that character. To
- return to the character menu,
- click on the area where the
- current party is displayed.

- 5. previous menu:
- this option will return you
- to the beginning menu.
